Industries

Nine trades, and the place where each one loses money.

One pack per trade, working next to Tally. Eight businesses use Ordence today: five on a pack, three on the core system.

Nine trades, and where each one stands

Live: a business runs it today. In use: a business runs part of it. Built: ready, no customer yet.

  • Roll and batch trading

Live at one hot and cold stamping foil trader

Where it loses money A shade that drifts between mill lots.

  • Chemicals

Live at two chemicals and trading businesses, for price lists, credit limits and collections

Where it loses money A drum billed at last month's price to a party already over its limit.

  • Distribution

    Built, no customer yet

Where it loses money A load over the dealer's credit limit, or out of the gate without its e-way bill.

  • Manufacturing

    Built, no customer yet

Where it loses money A bad batch with no material lot behind it.

  • Real estate developers

In use at a developer for enquiries, site visits and follow-ups; the rest is built, with no customer yet

Where it loses money A slab cast and never demanded from the buyer.

  • Pharma distribution

    Built, no customer yet

Where it loses money Expiry credit the principal has not paid back.

  • Jewellery and diamonds

In use at a jewellery business for catalogue, orders and dealers; the rest is built, with no customer yet

Where it loses money Grams still sitting with a karigar.

  • Restaurants

Built, no restaurant on it yet

Where it loses money Grams that leave the stores and never reach a bill.

  • Hospitals

Built, no hospital on it yet

Where it loses money A recalled implant lot no one can follow to the bill.

In every Ordence system as well

Every pack includes these.

  • Enquiries in one list. Website, IndiaMART, JustDial, referrals and walk-ins, each with an owner. Unanswered after 60 minutes (30 at the foil trader), it raises an alert.
  • Money due, in and out. What each party owes, with reminders on the day, in Hindi if you like.
  • Eight roles and an audit log. Every change is kept.
  • On any phone, under your name. Installs from your own web address, scans barcodes. No app store.
  • Agents that draft. Follow-ups and briefings from your records. A person signs off before anything is sent, priced or changed.
  • GST prepared, never filed. Invoices, e-way bill files, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B figures, GSTR-2B matching. You or your CA file.
  • Next to Tally. Your CA keeps Tally. How the two talk.

Questions

What owners ask.

My business is not one of the nine. Should I still apply?

Yes. Pick “Something else” on the form and say how you buy, make and sell. A call comes first.

We trade and also manufacture. Which do we pick?

Pick the bigger half of your work. All packs share one stock, sales and GST base, so both sides are covered.

Do you work with real estate developers?

Yes. The pack covers land, towers, units, bookings, contractors, RA bills (a contractor's running bills), costs, stage demands and the RERA designated account. One developer uses it for enquiries, site visits and follow-ups. Bookings, demands and RERA are built; no developer runs them yet.

See whether Ordence fits your business.

Name your trade and how you sell. If no pack fits, the reply says so.
