Terms of use
Using this website.
These terms cover your use of ordence.com: what you may do here, what the figures and screens on it are, and what we are and are not responsible for. Becoming a customer is a separate agreement, set out in the service terms.
Last updated 15 October 2026.
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Questions: hi@ordence.com.
1. Who we are
This website is run by Ordence, a business being incorporated in India and operated by its founders until incorporation (“Ordence”, “we”, “us”). Ordence is also the name of the business software described here. Once the business is incorporated, the incorporated entity takes over these terms.
Pending incorporation: the registered name, registration number and registered office of the incorporated entity will be stated here once incorporation completes.
2. Who the site is for
This website is for businesses in India considering Ordence, and for anyone reading its guides. It is not directed at children; please use it only if you are eighteen or older. If you use it on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to.
Ordence is offered by invitation. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell, a quotation or a contract. A business becomes a customer only by signing a written order form, which brings the service terms into effect.
3. Sample data and illustrations
The screens, films, demos, case studies, worked examples and figures on this website use sample data. The businesses, people, customers, invoices, amounts and GSTINs shown are invented or anonymised for illustration. Any resemblance to a real business or person is unintended. They show how Ordence works; they are not a report of any real customer's results.
Product pages describe Ordence as it stands and may change. What a customer receives is what its order form lists.
4. Guides and calculators are not advice
The guides (on GST, e-way bills, GSTR-2B, the MSME 45-day rule and similar) and the free calculators are general information, written carefully and checked against the law as we understood it on the date shown. They are not legal, tax or accounting advice, they may not reflect a later change in the law, and they cannot account for your facts. Calculators give estimates from the figures you enter. Check anything you rely on with your chartered accountant or adviser before acting on it.
5. What you may do with the content
The text, design, screens, films, code, logos and the name Ordence belong to us or to those who licensed them to us, and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. You may view, print and share pages and checklists for your own business's evaluation and internal use, with the source kept on them. Anything else, such as copying the site, republishing its content or using our name or logo, needs our written permission.
Tally, TallyPrime and other product names mentioned are trademarks of their owners. Ordence is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tally Solutions or any other company named on this site, unless a page says otherwise.
6. What you may not do
- Break the law, or use the site to harm anyone.
- Send false details through a form, or someone else's details without their permission.
- Probe, scan, overload or try to break into the site, its forms or anything behind it, or get around its bot checks, except in good-faith security research reported to us (see the security page).
- Scrape, harvest or copy the site in bulk by automated means beyond what its robots.txt allows.
- Upload or send anything containing malware, or anything unlawful, defamatory or infringing.
We may block access, or ignore a submission, where these terms are broken.
7. What you send us
When you send a form or email, please make sure the details are accurate and yours to share. We handle them as the privacy policy says. If you send us an idea or feedback, we may use it freely, without any obligation to you.
8. Links to other services
This website links to services we do not control, such as WhatsApp, Google Drive (where a brochure may be hosted) and government portals named in the guides. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
9. No warranty
This website is provided free and “as is”. We work to keep it accurate, available and secure, but to the extent the law allows we do not promise that it is complete, current, error-free or always available, or that it is fit for any particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or opportunity, arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content, guides or calculators. Our total liability to you arising from this website, which you use free of charge, is limited to five thousand rupees (₹5,000).
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited. If you are a customer, the service terms govern the service instead of this section.
11. Privacy and cookies
The privacy policy explains what this website collects, why, how long it is kept and your rights, including the one cookie the site sets (cookies).
12. Grievances
Complaints about this website or its content go to our Grievance Officer at hi@ordence.com, with “Grievance” in the subject. We acknowledge in writing within one working day and resolve within 15 days. Details are in the privacy policy.
13. Changes
We may update these terms, and will change the date at the top when we do. The version on this page when you use the site is the one that applies.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts with jurisdiction over our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about this website; that office will be stated above once incorporation completes. Before going to court, please write to us so that we can try to resolve it.
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
